ECMO PRN Mission Statement

To provide the necessary equipment, education, and training to any healthcare organization or individual practitioner with the goal to utilize Extracorporeal Life Support (ECLS) to decrease mortality and improve patient outcomes.

ECMO PRN Vision Statement

To create a culture of medicine that fully understands the risk and benefits of Extracorporeal Life Support (ECLS), the technology of Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation, and appropriately implements ECLS to reduce mortality and improve patient outcomes in any healthcare setting; Intensive Care, Cath Lab, Emergency Department and Prehospital Emergency Medical Services.

Each team member at ECMO PRN is passionate about ECMO and the advancements in ECLS. We know that ECMO is not for everyone. We see the use of ECMO rapidly expanding and the interest in implementing ECMO spreading to pandemic proportions. ECMO PRN believes that education and awareness is necessary, now more than ever, to ensure that this life saving technology is used responsibly to optimize the outcomes of patients.

Jason Chan

Founder & Chief Executive Officer - MSN, RN, CCRN-K, CES-A

Jason is a San Francisco native.  He has over 10 years of emergency medical services experience working as an Emergency Medical Technician for an ambulance company providing pre-hospital basic life support, advanced life support operating in a 9-1-1- system and critical care support on a critical care ambulance.
