Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS) Services.

ECMO PRN provides Specialty Care Transport (SCT) for patients on all types of MCS devices including Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), IMPELLA and Ventricular Assist Device (VAD). 

 

Our Specialty Care Transport (SCT) Team consist of two Critical Care Transport (CCT) Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), one Critical Care Transport (CCT) Registered Nurse (RN) and a Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS) Specialist.  Our teams are provided education and training specific to the management of these high acuity patients.

ECMO PRN MCS Transportation Services do not require hospital personnel or equipment to accompany the patient throughout transport.  It is a true independent system that specializes in safe and efficient transport of MCS patients. We work with the following manufacturers of MCS devices:
